Snake Mountain August 30th, 2009
So my arm is heeling quite well no more swelling……so Andy and I went out for a mtb ride this morning up in woodstock. we hit up wilson st park which is realy fun and in great shape…..Billy’s race is coming up pretty soon up there it is part of the NY state series and an awesome course. So after the park Andy and I started climbing up MT Tobias which was pretty good super hard climb though. as we get to the top and start making our way around the top kriekies…we came across a giant specimen….a Timber rattler in its natural environment….the thing was huge. Needless to say we made our way off the mountain super fast. the entire way down every stick that moved looked like a snake…….after our heart rates came down we cut back through the park and finished up back at Andy’s all in all it was a good ride too bad I can’t ride Tobias until winter………

Sunday riding…. August 24th, 2009
Yesterday the weather was pretty crappy raining again……so Andy and I decided to go for a ride on the MTB instead of going out on the Sunday morning road ride thinking no one would show in the rain. well a few people did show so rain or shine the ride is on…..anyway Andy and I had a good ride it was fun until a wet rock got me…we were hammering along when a wet rock reached out and got me I went down so fast I did not even un clip. Long story short I ended up spending my Sunday at the awesome new first care med place outside of new paltz. 15 stitches later I was back at work. I have some good picks of my elbow its nice and meaty…I will get them up later.

Diablo August 19th, 2009
Today Jurgen and I went down to Diablo to check out the 2010 Fox cycling gear and to play on the MTN. It was the most fun I have had on a bike in a long time….Jurgen is insane so fast….It has been I while since I jumped anything and my first time on a real DH bike. It was great I was clearing the jump runs and hucking off the drops…..I can’t wait to go back…….
