I got out some blades and started carving Jonny thought it would be a good idea to use the dremel tool. well you might as well stuck a RPG in the pumpkin because there are pumpkin guts everywhere. Jonny is now unplugged until further notice……I’ll get some pics up of our sweet pumpkins ASAP……

NYCROSS October 27th, 2008
So marky Mark and I went up to VT for one of the NY cross races yesterday….here are some pics of Mark working it…..

Mark did pretty well for his first cross race in years if ever…I think I got him hooked mooohahahahah!!!!
My race went pretty well I felt good I misjudged the last lap and the last turn and lost the sprint for second, so I ended up third…not bad for my 4th cross race of the season………
How about Troy wells kicking some ass at the USGP this weekend 4th place on Saturday not bad. It must have been his NY training that gave him the edge going into the weekend………….

cold October 22nd, 2008
it seems as though the cold weather has snuck up on me this year…last weekend I was riding in shorts and a jersey and this week I had to bust out the booties….it is a great time of the year to ride but it always seems to take a while to get re adjusted to riding in the cold….yesterday T wells, Marky Mark and I went out for a little cross training ride. It was a chilly start but to make things worse about 20 minutes in it started to rain…then rain pretty hard. And to my amazement Troy was the most prepared person on the ride…he pulled out an entire rain suit as Mark and I had to rely on our Verge winter jackets to keep us dry….the skies eventually cleared up and we had a good but soggy ride……troy is heading to the USGP this weekend hopefully he can kick some ass, Mark and I are heading to the NYCROSS race in VT on sunday…Mark is ready to flex his cross muscles on his new whip…………back to the cold weather just to put it out there I have a full line of cold weather gear for those in need…..

Gloucester October 14th, 2008
Gloucester went pretty well considering it was a UCI cross race and your starting spot is based on UCI points since I had none I started DFL (Dead Last) on Saturday. I managed to work my way up to 20th…on sunday my starting spot wasn’t too much better but I managed to be consistent and finish 20th again…not bad for my first big cross race…..Here are some pics from the weekend.
Here is the Team manager pre race…………

cross weekend October 9th, 2008
So here is a pic from last weekends cross race. As I was warming up some unruly fans were trying to get someone to ride up the run up. I never want to disappoint so I gave it a try….I almost made it but I got stuck on the last barrier….
I also have to give some props to My bro and Josh A for representing the shop last weekend in Cooperstown….I think Joshes chain stayed on the entire race……..So this weekend I am off to race with the big boys at the UCI cross race in Gloucester I wonder if Lance will show up???? Speaking of Lance the 09 Trek line up is awesome check it out at Trekbikes.com. This year they are offering the sick madone frame with custom build kits and custom paint…You could have a one of a kind sick carbon machine….the program is called project one……you can go online and build your own bike it is really awesome……I also gotta say that pro cycling is really starting to blow…How many guys are going to get popped for CERA who knew they would come up with a test for it……and who pays someone 7000 Euros for training advice and then to top it all off never even collects any services come on…..DOPERS SUCK…….

1st cross race of the season October 5th, 2008
So I raced my first cross race of the season yesterday up in Troy it was the second race of the NY cross series. I was a little unsure of how I would feel since my summer has not been filled with races every weekend. I was very stoked to find myself riding in the chase group quite comfortably dooking it out for 3rd when about half way through the race I lost my chain over a curb and that was it. I found myself in 7th and chasing and that is where I stayed for the rest of the race. My new trek cross bike rode pretty sick so much nicer than my bike last year. It was good to get a race in before heading up to Gloucester next weekend…..Johnny and some of the crew headed up to Cooperstown for a race today I wonder how they did……
